GRAPHICS ON THE SIDE OF VEHICLE
Prepare the Vehicle Surface:
Ensure the vehicle surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or debris. Mix water and a small amount of mild detergent in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the vehicle surface with the soapy water solution.
Position and Apply the Graphics:
Carefully peel off the backing paper from the graphics, exposing the adhesive side. Position the graphics on the wet vehicle surface, allowing you to slide and adjust them for proper alignment.
Smooth Out Air Bubbles:
Gently use a squeegee to smooth out any air bubbles from the center to the edges of the graphics.
Wait 2-3 Hours:
Allow the applied graphics to set and adhere to the vehicle surface for 2-3 hours before proceeding to the next step.
Trim Excess Material:
Once the graphics have set, use scissors or a utility knife to trim any excess material along the edges of the vehicle. Ensure a clean and precise cut.
Trim at Door Seams:
With the graphics applied, carefully trim the material at the door seams using scissors or a utility knife. Ensure a clean and precise cut to enhance the overall appearance.
Remove Application Tape:
Peel off the application tape at a 45-degree angle, pulling it back over itself. This should be done slowly and evenly to avoid lifting the graphics.
Final Inspection:
Inspect the graphics for any remaining air bubbles or imperfections. If necessary, use a pin or needle to puncture and release trapped air, then smooth out the area.
Allow Full Cure Time:
For optimal adhesion and longevity, avoid washing or exposing the vehicle to extreme conditions for at least 2-4 days after installation.
